- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Fort Hemlock is a favourite luncheon stop on our way through Smiths Falls. From either the outdoor patio or an indoor dining room, it has a spectacular view. You can see a waterfall, a generation plant, a six storey heritage building and a tall water tower. Inside, our server is very friendly and helpful. For example, he noticed a belonging we left behind. He picked it up and went outside to catch up with us and return it.
